Nestling in the heart of the Meije Region at Villar d’Arène, Le Faranchin’s restaurant and its chef David Amieux offer a flavoursome and sophisticated culinary experience.

Every day, in addition to the à la carte menu, David Amieux offers a tasty menu of the day based on his mood and utilizing fresh market produce and his ‘finds.’

Subtle flavours

While the menu contains the two or three not-to-be-missed mountain specialities and local produce, our chef also concocts dishes with subtle flavours and aromas, such as St Pierre fillet with a creamy coconut sauce, sweet potato purée, roast leg of suckling pig with rhubarb sauce, and delicious desserts.

This understated venue is getting known through word of mouth, making for delighted diners.

We regularly hold wine and regional produce tasting sessions because we are passionate about good food and drink.
